Inductive Charging

Inductive charging uses electromagnetic fields to transfer energy between two objects. This is usually done with a charging station in which energy is sent through an inductive coupling to an electrical device. It can then be used to charge and run the device.

Magnetic Levitation

Magnetic levitation is a method by which an object is suspended in the air with no other supports than magnetic fields. A magnetic force is used to counteract the effects of gravity and any other forces. There are two different factors that are involved in magetic levitation: lifting force and stability. Lifting force provides an upward force sufficient enough to counteract gravity. Stability ensures that the system does not slide or flip the object where the lift is neutralized.

OvRcharge

By combining inductive charging and magnetic levitation, a new invention of technology known as OvRcharge was introduced. It charges and suspends your device while also rotating it in the air. A special case is required that contains an electrical reciever and a magnet to hold the device's position in midair. The charging base is made of wood and contains the two functions needed for wireless charging and magetic levitation. It is powerful enough to lift a 600 grams unit and charge it.
